No mirrors captures the joy of seeing oneself for the first time. This was the experience of a Ghana woman in a small village seeing her self in pictures. They had no mirrors in their mud huts. Not expecting it, Kierra had taken the first few photographs the village had ever seen. In this one special moment she brought this village in Ghana joy.

Reanna received the President's Award at Fullerton College in 2016 for her work on "Uganda Unveiling." This photograph is one of many stunning images of Africa captured by her close childhood friend, Kierra Fields. Kierra took this photo while writing her book, "Roots and Tides."
